Of cooks, pans and emotions. My couch-potatoing is getting off hand. They say that you are what you eat, but i didnt think that one would be in danger of looking like it. Potatoes coincidentally are my plus delicacy even for heaven but i think i might be growing proportionate to my comrade soon. Thing is the drama that im watching, its a show i've caught on so late i am already under the mockery of millions in the world. Its 'jewel in the palace' for me now and you can tell im intrigued by the show evidently. The last time i consulted my brain statistics said voluntary internet searches of the word 'recipies' and 'cooks' surged by 1000% and im truely embarrassed by it. Seems im the best example about victims of media influence. In fact its so powerful people can already probably relate me to a 'desperate housewife'. How apt. Everything flows in a circle. You see, its a drama about kitchen politics within the place of korean way before i was born. However these people are so damn serious about food in this show they cry, hug each other, kill, and then cry again! You almost think these imperial female cooks are all lesbians. There were only so much tears i could take i tell you, so thank god for the good storyline. In fact, they speak of drinking water as a basic food too so they serve it in in small bowls. Thank god i was not ever passed down such baggage from the chinese ancestors. I can only imagine that my friends would use the water in the bowls to wash their hands instead of drinking it if i even tried. So there. A toast to all in the comfort of our glasses and mugs. But this show does make you hungry. Sigh. And since i cannot gaurantee that my wife in future can cook, i decided today i would take the helm instead. Watch out all. Chef pui is here.
